Day 30. Hoover Dam and Kingman, AZ

We decided to visit Hoover Dam, but neither of us was particularly interested in touring the turbines and such.  So we drove over and back.  The water level seemed to be really low.  Charlie has noticed that he has developed a hand condition -- white knuckles!  I'm pretty sure that the Grand Canyon will be the last site on this trip to challenge his aversion to cliffs -- thankfully.

We continued to Kingman, one leg closer to the Grand Canyon.  Kingman was not an interesting town to us, but it did provide a store to purchase ant traps; we'll see how they work.  Today it rained!  We haven't had rain since Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
