On Saturday we drove along the Avenue of the Giants to see magnificent
redwood trees.
When I opened the car
door at our first stop, I was amazed by the fragrant aroma.
Wow!
It was wonderful!
And the trees
are amazing.
It’s horrifying to think
that these magnificent trees were almost destroyed at the altar of greed.
Thank you to the exceptional men who stopped
the bulldozers and saws before it was too late!
One tree that fell a few decades back during a storm is said to have
been 2000 years old.
It weighed so much
that it registered as a seismic event!
They are definitely big.
