The Quechee/Pine Valley KOA outside of Woodstock is really nice and clean. When we arrived we went for a nice swim before heading into Woodstock. What a pretty town! We wandered up and down Main Street enjoying the architecture, the small shops, and some homemade ice cream. We especially liked seeing the covered bridge. Built in 1969, it was the first covered bridge built since 1895! The local government chose to build the wooden bridge because it was $10,000 cheaper to build than a metal one. I'm glad they made that decision - much more picturesque!
